Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 18, 2026. This is the same policy shown inside the app under Settings → Privacy Policy.
Overview
Just Do It is a habit-tracking app. Most personal habit data stays on your device. This policy explains what information the app handles, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information stored on your device
Your personal habits, notes, schedules, reminders, completion history, appearance settings, and notification preferences are stored locally on your device and in the app's shared container for its widget and shortcuts. They are not uploaded as analytics. Removing the app may remove this local information, subject to Apple's device backup behavior.
iCloud group features
If you create or join a group, the group name, group schedule, your chosen display name and emoji, shared progress, and predefined encouragements are stored in Apple's CloudKit so the group can work across participating devices. Other members of that group can see the information intended for the group. Personal notes and unrelated habits are not shared. CloudKit processing is also governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Reports and safety
If you submit a report, the app sends the reported group identifier and name, your group-member identifier, the selected reason, optional details, the report date, and app version to a developer-only CloudKit record for review. Reports do not include personal notes, habit history, or unrelated habits. Reports are retained only as reasonably needed to investigate safety concerns, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Purchases
Just Do It Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. The app never sees or stores your payment details. All it keeps on your device is whether Pro is unlocked, so the features it covers work offline; restoring a purchase asks Apple, not us.
Anonymous analytics
The app uses TelemetryDeck to understand launches and feature usage. Signals may include general product interactions, app or device information, habit category, schedule shape, and whether optional features are used. They never include habit names, notes, group names, member names, reminder times, or log dates. TelemetryDeck uses a salted and hashed device identifier. The app does not use this information for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
Notifications
If you grant notification permission, reminders, daily summaries, and group encouragement alerts are delivered through Apple's notification services. You can disable notification features in the app or change permission in iOS Settings.
Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the features described above, such as Apple CloudKit and TelemetryDeck, or when required by law, necessary to protect users, or requested by you.
Children
Just Do It is not directed to children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through a group feature, contact the address below and it will be removed.
Your choices
You can use personal habit tracking without joining a group. You can leave a group, disable notifications, and delete habits in the app. To ask about a report, privacy, access, correction, or deletion of information held by the developer, contact the address below. We may need enough context to locate the relevant record.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version is published here and in the app, with a new effective date. Material changes will be reflected in an app update.
